The Hammerheads Soccer Club is Eastern North Carolina’s premier youth soccer program. It is home to more than 1,500 classic and 4,000 recreational players. With their pathways program they offer fun, competitive soccer programming to all ages and skill levels. They also now have a premier soccer facility to host training, games and tournaments: nCino Sports Park. They provide their players incredible opportunities such as College ID day with college recruiters, ECNL programming, training with abroad clubs here as well as going abroad, and more. When launching their rebrand in 2024 they partnered with us for video production, and we have been working with them ever since!

The Hammeheads pathway program features 3 primary age groups. We made a video highlighting each one which they have on their website for each program. This involved interviews with coaches, players, parents and capturing broll of practices and tournaments. Here is the program video for U13-U19 which features their ECNL club.

Coaches Game
After nCino Sports Park was completed something interesting happened. The Hammerheads coaches found themselves wanting to play on the field. Sure, they coach there all the time, but they wanted to lace up and play the game themselves. So they did.
We follow a game as the coaches go head to head in a battle of skill, wits and age. Then we explore how this builds the culture of the program and translates into the coaches approach to working with their players.

nCino Sports Park
The Hammerheads program had a long road to having their own park, complete with 11 fields and a turf field - it has opened the region to hosting not just the Hammerheads, but tournaments, rugby and other sports, events and more. It’s not only been a game-changer for the club, but also the city of Wilmington and the surrounding areas.
We’ve been following it from the construction phase, and this mini doc highlights the journey to the first kick at nCino Sports Park.
